Palestinian And Israeli Casualties In The Latest Round Of Fighting

Since the latest Israeli incursion into Gaza, which began on December 27 2008, the fighting has resulted in the following casualties on both sides:


Palestinians: 465 dead (75 of them children). 2,310 wounded.

Israelis: 4 dead.


Oh yeah, this is a fair fight and both sides are equally to blame, right?

The big hammer approach that Israel always seems to default to hasn't worked yet, and isn't ever going to. Personally, I can't see a solution that isn't enforced by international decree, and I can't see that coming in the near future. Once again, the "Holy Land" is anything but.
